Na´Vi are through to the Grand Final at the Extreme Masters World Finals with a 2:0 win over Evil Geniuses.
Na´Vi were first to score on de_inferno, picking up the first three rounds, before Evil Geniuses won their first. But when it was expected that the Americans would put some pressure on Na´Vi, the Ukrainian side got complete control of what was going on, cruising to an 11-4 scoreline at the break.
With EG showing some defensive problems, their chances of winning the map looked very slim, and they only got worse when Na'Vi won the pistol round. Though the American team won the next round, courtesy of Tomi "lurppis" Kovanen's deagle action, Na´Vi would immediately get back into the game to win the map 16-5.
The teams then moved onto de_train, with all eyes on Yegor "markeloff" Markelov and Danny "fRoD" Montaner, the two AWPers in town. A hectic start from Na´Vi saw them win the first five rounds, causing early problems to EG, who then won their first round. The Ukrainians set the score at 7-1, before EG finally managed to lift themselves up, but still Na´Vi went into the second half with an 8-7 lead.
Now playing as Terrorist, EG surprised Na´Vi in the pistol round, which gave the Americans the opportunity to get the lead for the first time in the match, setting the score at 10-8 in their favour. The two teams then exchanged a couple of rounds, but in the end Na´Vi nailed down a 16-13 victory to secure a place in the final.
